Brown Aramid Tape (Technora)
This aramid tape is made of brown aramid fiber from Technora of Teijin. Some of glass tempering furnaces made in Italy adopted this coffer color tape.

 

Black Aramid Tape
Fortemp Black Aramid is made of 100% virgin black aramid filament fiber.

Nowadays, more and more glass fabricators installed the measurement system for tempered glass like LiteSentry Osprey system in the exit end of glass tempering furnace so as to improve the quality inspection. This black aramid tape is usually wrapping the rollers in exit end of glass tempering furnace and the black background color below the glass sheet is significantly helpful for this measurement system to increase the accuracy of distortion & flatness reading on tempered glass.
